About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for an Assessor to join our team based at Fairfield on a Part Time basis. Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct Pre-Training Assessments against the Australian Core Skills Framework across multiple MTC Australia sites.

  • Accurately assess clients' current competencies using the appropriate MTC Pre-Training Assessment Kit and in accordance with the ACSF

  • Commence clients recommended for training within timeframes set by DET in the Instructions for SEE Providers

About You

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, engaging and highly organized with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Undergraduate degree of at least 3 years duration

  • TAE 40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

  • Post Graduate TESOL qualification (minimum graduate certificate level)

  • Completion of a minimum of 100 hours teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or Adult Literacy/Numeracy during the last 3 years
