We are seeking an experienced and successful consultant with demonstrated business development experience and organisational skills to join a busy Apprenticeship Network Provider. The primary remit of this role is to promote and facilitate the take-up of apprenticeships and traineeships by employers.
The candidate we are looking for will ideally offer previous experience with the marketing of apprenticeship services. If not, then a VET sector/RTO/GTO background would be preferred. Consultants in these roles are required to have a complete understanding of the Australian Apprenticeships System, as well as all issues relating to apprentice and trainee matters, such as the Training Contract, industrial relations, training requirements and employer obligations. Any existing knowledge within these areas will be highly-regarded.
In general terms, you will offer:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to see tasks through to conclusion.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
Other areas of particular importance for this role include:
- As this industry sector is strictly regulated, a background in which you have worked within the requirements of compliance, legislation and regulations is most-preferred.
- Well-honed sales and business development skills, and a history of achievement and meeting both Sales and Quality KPI’s.
- An organised and methodical approach. You will be responsible for your own diary management, and as such will be able to plan your day with maximum efficiency in mind.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to form long-term, loyal and collaborative relationships with your clients; as well as partnerships with external organisations such as RTO’s.
- Good general administration and IT skills.
- A full Queensland driving licence.
Remuneration is by way of base salary + bonus + car. Candidates for this position must be resident in the Sunshine Coast area.
