The role

The successful appointee will be responsible for teaching into the School’s engineering programs, supervising Higher Degree Research (HDR) students, performing research, administrative and other activities associated with the School.

The person

Applicants should possess a PhD in mechatronic, robotic, or automation engineering, or related field.

You should have demonstrated expert knowledge in your field of research and be able and willing to contribute to teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in a broad range of engineering courses (subjects). The ability to contribute toward an excellent student experience and toward an excellent health and safety culture is essential.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at Academic level B or C.

The remuneration package for level B will be in the range $92,142 - $109,419 p.a. plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $107,807 - $128,020 p.a.).

The remuneration package for level C will be in the range $112,874 - $130,150 p.a. plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $132,063 - $152,276 p.a.).
