An opportunity is now available for experienced and self-motivated Trainer and Assessor to join the growing team in Auburn, Sydney.

What's on offer?

Due to our client business expansion, our client is currently seeking an experienced Children's Services Trainer and Assessor who can deliver and assess CHC50113 - Diploma in Children's Services. 

This training role will be awarded to a dynamic Trainer and Assessor who is passionate about instilling lifelong learning passion with their students.

The successful Trainer will be a self-driven, motivated achiever who can work with people from a diverse range of backgrounds with varying levels of education and work experience.

To be successful candidate you MUST have the following:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or higher qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Training Assessment TAE40110 (or working towards)
  • At least 3-5 years recognised experience in the industry.
  • Trainer Matrix that demonstrates industry experience currency and professional development.
  • Relevant State/Territory Working with Children Clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Drivers license and own transport is essential
  • An understanding of the RTO compliance framework and standards expected of Trainers
  • Pro-active problem-solving skills, with proven ability and experience to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

You may be required on occasion to travel interstate.

Desirable:

It would be desirable if you can facilitate and Assess some or all of the following:

  • HLTAID004 - Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
  • HLTAID001 - Provide cardio pulmonary resuscitation
  • CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
  • SITXFSA002 - Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices
  • HLTNA302D - Plan and evaluate meals and menus to meet recommended dietary guidelines
