About the role

Due to growing business requirements, we are now looking to hire a permanent full time Trainer/Assessor (8.30am-5pm M-F) for an immediate start to deliver the courses: Certificate III Health Services Assistance (HLT33115) and Certificate III & Certificate II in Health Support Services ( HLT23215 & HLT33215)

As a Trainer/Assessor you will be involved in the design and lead the delivery of our courses. You will be instrumental in organising and supervising students in practical placements within a hospital setting. We are passionate about our Quality & Compliance. We invest in moderation, validation, professional development and feedback to improve our delivery.

Key day to day duties will include:

  • Planning and preparation for lessons
  • Delivering classes
  • Assess and evaluate training
  • General administrative duties

About you

First and foremost you will have a keen interest and passion in teaching in the health and patient service sector. Our successful candidate will ideally have come from a hospital background and have previous experience and qualifications in a training capacity. Our workplace is open to new ideas so we will be keen to hear about your creativity and sharing of feedback in modifying our training processes.

Our successful candidate will also come with:

  • A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40110 and/or TAE40116
  • Registered Nurse or Health Support Services Technician
  • Qualification in a related field
  • Current industry and RTO experience

A current working with Children Check or VIT Registered is essential as is a Police Check or the willingness to gain one.
