The Opportunity:

We are now seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our Team in Altona Meadows. This is a new, standout service, where the team prides itself on delivering high quality care and education to our families. 

  • 37.5 hours per week with a set shift available between the hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Room licenced for 16 children between the ages of 4 and 5
  • 6 hours of planning weekly

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the Kinder program in line with the National Quality Framework and the EYLF
  • Mentor and guide the team of Educators in delivering the program
  • Work collaboratively with Team members and Families
  • Be innovative and creative in your approach, focusing on the individual needs of each child

 

Essential Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Teaching or equivalent
  • Current VIT card and Working with children check
  • First Aid Certificate – HLTAID004
  • A commitment to delivering high quality care and NQF high quality indicators
  • Experience in leading a team and building positive relationships
  • Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Philosophy and concepts of Play Based Learning.
