PEAK Training is NSW Family Day Care Association’s (NSWFDCA) Registered Training Organisation (RTO), offering quality accredited and professional development training and support to the Early Childhood and Middle Years sector.
We are looking for an experienced RTO team leader to provide support and guidance to the team to oversee overall compliance of the RTO and the provision of quality services.
NSWFDCA is the peak body for Family Day Care in NSW and was founded in 1976 to support the development of quality child care within a home environment. We operate as a not-for-profit organisation under the management of a Board of Management. Our office is located directly across from Summer Hill train station.
35 hours
Monday - Friday
Essential Criteria
- Experience in and working knowledge of a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
- Demonstrated knowledge and a strong understanding of the Australian skills Quality Authority (ASQA), training packaging requirements, AVETMIS and relevant legislative requirements
- Knowledge of State and Federal Training funding
- Experience in the coordination, evaluation and delivery of training programs
- Competency in financial and strategic management
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 or 40116
- Suitable qualification
- Current knowledge of the Early Childhood Education and Care sector
Desirable Criteria:
- Demonstrated understanding of student support services
- Experience in student management systems such as Vettrak and MOODLE
- Knowledge of Family Day Care sector
