Contract TRAINER/ASSESSOR
We are one of Sydney's leading educational institutions located in heart of Sydney CBD offering accredited vocational education and training (VET) courses for Diploma in Business, Leadership and Management.
We are looking for contract VET Trainers & Assessors with Leadership and Management experience to join our vibrant team.
You must be well organized with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt your teaching to a diverse range of backgrounds and culture along with evidence of ongoing professional development and industry currency, as well as a solid knowledge of the NVR requirements for VET RTO's
Minimum Requirements:
- The Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116);
- At least 1 year as a VET trainer/assessor;
- VET Qualification and/or the relevant field with industry experience (either Business, Leadership & Management, Marketing and/or Accounting);
- Experience in developing and validating resources;
- Experience in creating assessments;
- Knowledge of the NVR requirements for VET RTO's;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and delivery;
- Ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients.
Duties will include (but are not be limited by):
- Contribute to the development of training materials that meet ASQA requirements
- Participate in the regular Assessment validation and moderation process
- Develop and ensure the implementation of learning materials as required
- Ensure content delivery and interaction
- Ensure compliance with policy and processes that satisfy all regulatory guidelines
- Mentor and assess students from many different cultural backgrounds
- Assessment of learner competency against various performance criteria.
