Early Childhood Early Intervention Key Worker
Austra Health is currently seeking a passionate, experienced, knowledgeable early childhood specialist teacher for a charitable organisation based in the south east of Melbourne.
As part of a MDT working with OT’s, speech pathologists and physios, your role will be to develop educational programs, information and resources, group individualised specialist learning and early childhood development strategies to help empower the family to successfully and positively impact on the education and social integration from a family centred perspective for children who are blind or have low vision

With access to colleagues and teams to provide support with specialist equipment, advanced technology, specialist clinical and intervention techniques, there is a real opportunity to work towards great outcomes/
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor or Teaching or Early Childhood
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children or families who may have complex disabilities
- Early intervention experience (0-7)
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Experience working with children or families who have a disability
- Working with blind people would be extremely beneficial
- Intensive paediatric experience in a MDT or key worker setting
