Selection Criteria to be addressed:
- A Diploma qualification which meets the criteria defined in Children’s Services Education and Care Services National Regulation 2011
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement programs for children in reference to the Early Years Learning Framework
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain detailed records of children’s learning and development, displaying a sound knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Ability to support and contribute in a team teaching situation to provide a high quality educational program
- Commitment to participate in quality improvement and assessment in children’s services
- Approved child protection qualification (Statement of Attainment), current first aid, emergency asthma and anaphylaxis management training or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills with the ability to engage conflict management skills effectively
- Ability to work unsupervised and keep to task, displaying a high level of initiative to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
