As you may have guessed when looking after your patients, only 5% of Australians are trained in providing first aid. It’s no wonder clinical outcomes are so poor following injury/illness in the community! The exciting news is that now you have an opportunity to become a part of the solution.

Due to the steady expansion of our First Aid Training Department, we are now seeking an additional trainer to help us empower the Gold Coast and surrounding community with the ability to provide first aid with confidence.

THE ROLE:

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for energising the training room with the facilitation, training & assessment of high quality, engaging and compliant training for groups of up to 16 people.

Role Requirements:

As we are a Registered Training Organisation, there are some essential requirements that you will need to meet:

• Recent experience in nursing, paramedic or other relevant medical role
• Currency in the First Aid qualifications you wish to deliver (CPR, First Aid, Childcare First Aid, Advanced First Aid, Advanced Resus, LVR)    
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110/TAE40116)         ·
• Working with Children’s Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)          ·
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Current driver’s license         ·
• Own reliable vehicle   
• 2 years of recent first aid training experience is desirable
