SEDA is recruiting for an experienced and people orientated Admissions Coordinator for a short term part time contract with the potential of long term employment to join our team.  This position is based in Hawthorn, VIC.

Reporting to the Admissions Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Being the first point of contact for all enquiries including by phone and email
  • Supporting the Admissions Manager to develop and implement strategies that ensure national SEDA enrolment targets are achieved.
  • Ensuring all prospective parents and students are provided with key program information and understand the admissions process. 
  • Coordinating the student admission process including booking student information sessions, interviews and enrolment sessions and processing decisions on student applications.
  • Ensuring all relevant documentation is provided by prospective students entering a SEDA program.
  • Assisting with open days and careers expos for new students and parents seeking information about SEDA.
  • Learning about and clearly communicate SEDA's programs in detail to the wider community and targeted groups/areas

You will be joining SEDA as a pivotal part of a dedicated and successful Admissions team. This is a big role so it goes without saying that your proven past track record as an Admissions Guru will need to be demonstrated for your application to be considered. It is also highly favourable if you have had experience with using Dynamics 365 or similar CRM systems.

You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills comprising of a positive attitude, self-confidence, be a team player and have the ability to solve problems on the go.  As you model our SEDA values of professionalism, innovation, integrity and collaboration, you will demonstrate finely tuned and effective writing skills.
