Curriculum Advisor, SEO2 (ETS) - 173944, 173941 Temporary full time appointment up to three (3) years Location: Griffith About the role: Identifying and delivering targeted programs and services to support schools to implement curriculum, policies, priorities and programs. The Educational Services Division Executive Group has agreed on a transitional arrangement for the recruitment of the Non-School Based Teaching Service (NSBTS) classifications of Senior Education Officer 1 and Senior Education Officer 2 (SEO1/SEO2), pending the outcome of the Educational Services review. Demonstrated commitment to participating in and managing accreditation processes. Experience in leading curriculum implementation and demonstrated understanding of current trends, resources, quality teaching & assessment practice, relevant legislation and policies. High level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills and experience in the preparation of documents including briefings, reports and correspondence. Proven capacity to lead, motivate and influence a large team and the ability to manage complex tasks to facilitate change. Demonstrated ability to build the capacity of staff through the development and delivery of innovative programs and services. Demonstrated capacity to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with agreed quality standards. Demonstrated ability to develop, plan and implement strategic initiatives and innovative practices that support education change for improved student learning outcomes.
