As a TAFE Queensland East Coast Teacher, you will contribute to developing and delivering quality learning services to a wide range of customers through:
- Outcome focused vocational education and training (VET) programs.
- Linking with industry, schools, universities, other TAFE and VET providers.
- Maintaining currency with industry practices, workplace delivery and utilising a variety of contemporary teaching methodologies and philosophies.
- Providing quality enjoyable and compelling student experience through continual enhancement and adaption to learning styles.
Based at Maryborough, this position is temporary part-time for two days per week until 14 December 2018 with the possibility of extension.
Mandatory requirements:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated current industry skills including literacy, language, numeracy and learning support
Qualifications / Requirements
- A recognised formal teaching qualification e.g. early childhood, primary, secondary English/Maths, learning support and one of the following –
- A recognised postgraduate teaching qualification in relevant area e.g. Literacy, Language, Numeracy and Learning Support OR
- Completed units of study relevant to teaching e.g. literacy, language, numeracy, learning support and a demonstrated record of relevant teaching experience with that specific cohort of students.
