Role and Responsibilities

The core purpose of this role is to manage a small team of Student Services representatives managing student enrolments for HSC students and their families. This includes: 

  • Management of our learning centre in Epping

  • Prioritise our web, phone based and walk-in leads on a daily basis

  • Conversion of leads to real Student enrolments 

  • Inspire a small team of Student Services staff

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls

  • Manage student enrolments and support services

  • Work to agreed targets and timelines

  • Work closely with the Academic and Leadership teams supporting broader company goals

  • Support and manage Tutors and Teachers when teaching in centre

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in a sales / customer service role

  • Minimum 1+ years in a management role

  • Strong leadership and management skills; the ability to lead and coordinate a team

  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail with excellent time management

  • Superb verbal, written and personal communication skills: ability to work with people of all levels, backgrounds and ethnicity

  • Ability to provide adequate advice and support for team members

  • Experienced and efficient conflict resolution management skills

  • Proficiencies Microsoft Office

  • Respect for deadlines

  • Digitally savvy, can work within a cloud environment Google Drive/Docs

  • Professional, responsive, confident, enthusiastic and detail-oriented

  • An easy going nature with the ability to stay cool under pressure

  • Availability on weekends essential! (Please do not apply if cannot work one weekend day)

 

Highly Desirable

  • Bilingual - Mandarin / Cantonese

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM

  • Excellent understanding of the HSC in NSW

  • Confident with the English Language, both verbal and written

  • Positive can do attitude and exceptional work ethic

  • Experience working in the education sector

  • Call Centre Management experience

  • A passion for working on mission driven brands and a hunger to learn as much as possible in a fast paced environment

  • Tertiary-level degree desirable, but actual work and accomplishments trumps all
