They will need to address the following:
Essential Criteria:
- Currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Relevant clinical and education post registration qualifications
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and upgrades to TAELLN411
- Demonstrated leadership, excellent oral & written communication skills, teamwork skills and a passion for education
- Exceptional organisational, problem solving and time management skills
- High level of computer literacy
- Ability to engage, lead, mentor and encourage students in a classroom and create a welcoming classroom environment
- Ability to manage student matters in academic and non-academic issues
- Demonstrated classroom teaching experience - including simulation labs
- Knowledge of best practice within nurse education, including legislative and regulatory requirements
- Experience in and/or understanding of mental health nursing would be preferable
- Familiar with current nursing practice – within last 2 years
- Preferably with experience in using simulation as a teaching and learning method
This position is available for an immediate start. Part Time, Full Time and Casual positions are available.
