To support the delivery of our projects, we are seeking an experienced Training Advisor for 12 months fixed-term (maternity leave contract) with a demonstrated background delivering a range of training solutions to support the onboarding, development, and upskilling of our people.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for managing relationships with a range of external stakeholders, including registered training organisations, government departments, not-for-profit organisations, and community groups to ensure the successful delivery of training, employment, and workforce participation objectives.
The Training Advisor will provide support to our SA projects to ensure favourable people development and safety outcomes. You will have a strong administrative background with a keen eye for attention to detail, and you will be the primary contact for project managers, supervisors and other leaders regarding all training requirements across our projects.
To be considered for this role you will have the following:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role;
- Experience working with stakeholders focused on delivering employment and training outcomes, including State government departments, Job Active Providers, and not-for profit organisations;
- Understanding of the Civil Construction industry licensing and competency framework;
- Knowledge of the VET sector including traineeship and apprenticeship framework;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Strong administrative skills with a high-level of attention to detail;
- Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment (desirable).
