This organisation is currently looking for an OSHC Manager in 3 separate locations: Willowmavin (Close to Kilmore), Parkmore & Carlton North.
Your new role
As an OSHC manager your role will be to run the day to day before and after school care activities, ensuring the programs implemented are stimulating and engaging for children and ensure children's health and safety is promoted at all times. You will need to communicate effectively with children and their families, and build up lasting relationships in the community. As a manager you will be in charge of rosters and hiring relief educators, as well as running inductions and providing guidance and assistance to staff.
This role will see you working a 38 hour week, with 28 hours of face time in the OSHC program and approximately 10 hours of paid administration time. This is a permanent position and your salary may vary depending on experience.
What you'll need to succeed
- Diploma of Children's services or Bachelor of Early Years Education
- Current first aid accreditation
- Working with Children's Check
- Must have experience working in before and after school care
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Available to start work immediately
- Experience in a coordinating role would be ideal
