About the Role
Due to the growth and expansion of the electrotechnology industry, Get Skilled Training requires a course developer to join our team. Reporting to the company director, the primary purpose of this role will be to develop training content and assessment material for delivery to Electrical workers throughout Australia.
Duties & Responsibilities
Your role will range from developing engaging training content and theoretical and practical assessments for units of competency in the UEE11 and ICT training package.
You will develop effective working relationships with our trainers, industry, course developers and other contractors employed to produce course training material through different mediums such as video and powerpoint. You will be involved in development of assessments, moderation and validation of course material at an organisation level and have a focus on continuous improvement of training material to ensure that our students are delivered the most up-to-date and engaging training content.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role must hold relevant trade licences with current industry experience and a sound knowledge of standards and national legislation applying to electrical and telecommunications work. A certificate IV in Trainer/Assessor (TAE40110) is desirable but not essential for this role as a course developer.
Candidates must have an intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy as well as advanced written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to use Microsoft Powerpoint and Word and have a high attention to detail to produce our training material. Use of Camtasia Studio is also highly desirable. You must have a flexible and adaptable approach as well as exceptional time management and organisational skills.
Employment Conditions
This role has the option to work from home or in a shared working space in Brisbane.
This is a contract role, which may become a part-time/full-time role for the right candidate. Interstate candidates are also encouraged to apply.
