Our beautiful Narre Warren service is looking for a passionate and experienced Qualified Lead Educator to become a part of our Apple Blossoms family.
Located in the heart of Narre Warren, our service has a community feel and a strong commitment to providing education and care of a high standard. We have a philosophy that includes a focus on the importance of nutrition & health & of recognising the strong connection between the developing mind and relationships with families and community.
If successful, you will be in charge of running and managing an (up to) 12 place nursery room with natural lighting, inspiring new outdoor learning spaces, & well resourced environment. Our philosophy is influenced by elements of Montessori and Reggio Emilia and knowledge of these theories would be highly regarded.
We are looking for someone who has proven experience, with a minimum of 2 years working experience, of running a program and leading your team of educators.
You will be happy, fun, nurturing, kind, & have an ability to remain calm under pressure. Oh...and ability to form professional relationships & communicate effectively with families is a must.
- Minimum 2 years experience in long day care and experience with 0 - 2 years
- Passionate and excited about the 0 - 2 age group
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Culturally aware with a solution focussed, positive outlook
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Knowledge of StoryPark highly regarded
