Established in 1875 Master Builders is an industry association representing the building and construction sector in Victoria. We support over 8,000 members in operating their businesses to ensure the delivery of superior quality to their customers. We are an organisation that is small enough for individuals to shine but also large enough for them to grow.
As a registered training organisation (RTO) we deliver a broad range of programs statewide, to over 12,000 industry practitioners annually. These programs range from basic WHS induction through to Certificate and Diploma level qualifications.
The Role:
This is a diverse role suitable for a dynamic candidate who is adaptable in providing excellent customer service both face to face and via telephone, also having the ability to also display intermediate administrative skills. This full time ongoing position is responsible for conducting the initial pre-enrolment activities for students, ensuring each enrolment is correctly processed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Course Pre- application and selection
- Provide thorough and accurate information on available courses, study options, career opportunities and assessments.
- Promote discounts and funding opportunities to prospective students.
- Upload and maintain student data on various systems
- Conduct interviews with students to disseminate all course and enrolment information.
- Collect all necessary evidence to be able to complete enrolments, ensuring all student information is accurately detailed on the system.
- Make regular contact with students, checking progress and determining if assistance is required
- Referral of students requiring assistance to Learning Support Consultant
- Maintaining detailed notes on student contact and tracking progress
- Provide clerical support including word processing, records filing, spreadsheet development, data entry and document editing.
Skills and Experience:
- Sound knowledge of the VET system and current training packages
- Awareness of ASQA regulatory and compliance requirements
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with Student Management Systems (SMS)
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Well developed ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated initiative and problem solving ability
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a structured team
