The Role of Educator

• Reports to the Coordinator
• Undertakes a caring and collaborative approach to showcase our company values: Considerate, Passionate, Courageous.
• Encourages play based learning: incorporates children’s ideas and interests into planned experiences and routines.
• Works with the team to tailor each aspect of the service to engage, inspire and delight the children attending your service.

The Ideal Candidate

• Available to work 5 days per week : between 7.00am-9.00am AND 2.30pm-6.00pm
• Childcare industry knowledge and experience preferably in Before and Afterschool care
• Desire to work with children
• A work history demonstrating reliability, punctuality, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
• Experience of supporting continuous improvement and change

• As a minimum, you must hold or be working towards:
  • Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent OR
  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent OR
  • Degree in Primary Education or Early Childhood Studies or equivalent
• Apply for or hold a current Employee Working with Children's Check
• Current and valid First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis highly desirable
