Avenues Early Learning Centre is a privately owned and operated company with 15 centres across Brisbane.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated early childhood professional to join our team as a casual assistant educator to work with all age groups.
Our Bowen Hills service is a committed team of passionate Early Childhood Educators and we are looking for a fresh educator with the same passion and enthusiasm for high quality care.
The positions available:
Assistant Educator
- Casual position
- Centre hours are Mon-Fri 7am-6pm
- Full availability preferred
- Working with all age groups
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Have a moderate level of computer skills and be able to use our online programming software
- Have well-developed interpersonal skills and commitment to working in a high functioning team environment
- Certificate III of Children's Services (or at least 50% completed)
- MUST HAVE experience in an assistant educator role
- A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
- A current senior first aid, CPR & asthma and anaphylaxis training
- A Diploma in Children's Services will be highly regarded
