The Opportunity

We are a highly enthusiastic, warm and friendly group of professionals who enjoy working in collaboration to support each other and our students. We are looking to expand our team and seek the addition of a colleague who is passionate about supporting competency development in provisionally registered psychologists who are completing their professional degree.
As the Professional Practice Consultant (Psychology), you will support the Faculty of Education’s psychology postgraduate students’ professional experience by providing PsyBA endorsed supervision. This includes assisting us in managing the professional experience of our students during and after placement and in developing their overall professional readiness throughout their post graduate psychology degree.
To be successful in this role, you will: have an outward focus and be able to establish and sustain field relationships; build and sustain partnerships with professional placement providers including schools, early intervention centres, private practice, hospitals, and other health and community-based sites; have significant relevant experience in psychology practice; have Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) full registration; be endorsed in Educational and Developmental Psychology (preferably held for two years), and; hold PsyBA approved higher degree Intern Supervisor status.
This role is a full-time position; however, we are flexible to offer part-time hours should suitable applicants be interested in this role.
