Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma required
Kids College is an independent centre located in St.Andrews whose aim is to grow children’s confidence and capabilities through indoor and outdoor play-based learning programs. We strive to provide a high level of care and education in an environment designed to stimulate and inspire.
We are currently looking for a full-time experienced, committed and creative ECT or experienced Diploma to inspire and guide a team of educators in our 3-5 year olds’ room. This teacher will be key in helping our children develop a lifelong love of learning through child-led enquiry, connections to nature and the community and school readiness.
The role will be critical to the educational outcomes of children in the room, and will be expected to engage with staff, children and parents to develop, drive and review educational programs that are sensitive to the individual interests and strengths of each child.
Requirements of the role…
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care or diploma with at least 3 years room-leader experience
- Working With Children Check
- Apply First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates

- Examples of development of improvements in quality of care of children that includes innovative programming, school preparation programming and links with the community
- Strength in assessing needs of each child, monitoring progress and ensuring school readiness
- Proven ability to take their own initiative in their work
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confident, passionate and motivated personality with an ambition to provide best quality education
- Genuine love of children and of the industry
- Great team work ethic and team player
