TAFE NSW Ultimo, National winners Meetings and Events Australia ‘Education and Training Award’ 2017 and Winners the Australian Event Award ‘Best Education or Training Program’ 2015, specializes in hands-on training in events. Students apply their event knowledge and skills from conceptualisation through to evaluating a real event while raising money for charity. The results of the check will be used to determine your suitability for employment. This is a temporary appointment for a period of up to twelve (12) months. Key Application Responses 1. Relevant degree, advanced diploma or diploma in Events. The vocational competencies must be at least at the level of the competencies being delivered and/or assessed. Note - relevant degree for event management can include but is not restricted to: Business Management, Marketing and Commerce supported by relevant industry experience at management level. 2. Two years current post degree/advanced diploma/diploma employment at supervisory or management level in an event environment such as staging, design, concept development, bidding, marketing and promotion. 3. Must have or willing to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) from the Training and Education (TAE) Training Package as a minimum qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalence of competencies. 4. Proven ability to demonstrate organisational skills, and communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments. 5. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional currency and providing quality customer service. 6. Demonstrated ability to contribute to a team environment. 7.
