Post Graduate Fellow in Breast Imaging - Temp F/T

Purpose of Position

To provide the opportunity for specialists early in their career to further develop their breast imaging practice and research skills.

Selection Criteria

Current medical practitioner registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Must be available for start in February 2019. Demonstrate substantial ability and excellence commensurate with their stage of career as a potential leader in their field Have highly developed diagnostic skills, have proven empathy and understanding of the patient’s perspective and ability to communicate key information to the patient and their carers Show a strong commitment to the development of multi-disciplinary approaches to cancer diagnosis and care and be able to work as part of a team Demonstrate an ability to undertake a research project while a Fellow Have demonstrated an ability to teach and train junior medical and radiography staff Have a clear understanding of their discipline in cancer as a whole including major international trends in their discipline and be aware of recent major developments or improvements in cancer impacting on their discipline
