Job Summary

At the Centre for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine (CNRM) at UTS we're dedicated to helping those suffering from the debilitating conditions of the brain, mind and spinal cord.

We're spearheading ground-breaking new programs that will revolutionise the treatment of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, mental health, MND and spinal injuries, ultimately aimed at delivering impact to millions of people.

Led by Professor Bryce Vissel, the Centre is delivering results previously never thought possible, in line with its vision is to create a sustainable, world-leading hub of excellence.

Detailed Description

The Centre is seeking a new Advancement Manager to lead the development and execution of a strategy that builds long-term investment, engagement, participation and support to significantly grow the reputation, engagement and financial support of the Centre.

Working closely with Professor Vissel and the UTS Advancement Unit, the Advancement Manager, CNRM is responsible for engaging alumni and partners to build ongoing support and participation through mutually beneficial relationships. Additionally, the Advancement Manager will be tasked with raising substantial funds in order to advance the mission of the University and support the Centre's activities.

The successful candidate will possess a demonstrable record of accomplishment in major gift fundraising at a leadership level. The ability to strategically drive an engagement and fundraising agenda within a complex environment, working closely with key internal stakeholders across the University in a collaborative manner, as well as with industry, corporations, and leaders nationally and internationally, will be fundamental.

Remuneration

Base Salary Range: An attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered.

This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary. Employee benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.

This appointment will be on a Fixed-term basis for 36 months.
