A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a casual OSHC Educator to join our team at our Gowrie NSW Erskineville OSHC.

The Role
We are looking to appoint an OSHC Educator who will work as part of a team and who is dedicated, confident, and creative and open to learning. This is a casual role, working before and after school care shifts (7-9am and 2:30-5:30pm).
About you
The position would suit candidates who are creative, energetic and have experience working with children aged 5-12 years. The successful candidate will have the ability to engage with school aged care children and assist in the facilitation of activities.
Essential requirements for this position are:
- New working with children check
- Qualifications in Education or willingness to undertake study
- A current first-aid certificate and asthma and anaphylaxis training or willingness to undertake training in this area
- Child protection training certificate
- Ability to work and contribute to a team
- Experience in documentation
- Sound experience with emotion coaching and understanding & guiding children's behaviour
