Deakin University, is one of the fastest growing universities with a reputation for being technologically adept and nimble. There are six campuses in Burwood, Geelong, Warrnambool and the cloud, totaling some 58,000 students including 12,000 international students.
Following the incumbent’s departure after 8 years, we are seeking a new Director SIPU reporting to the CFO. The Director is a leadership position, working at a senior level across the University, externally with other universities and the Department of Education and Training, and leading a skilled team of 24 covering Business Intelligence, Forecasting & Modelling, Reporting & Analytics, Research & Surveys.
To be successful you are a proven manager of high-level strategic planning and quantitative data analysis, research on policy or strategic issues, and able to develop valuable recommendations for action. You have high EQ and a record in creative and modern thinking in using effective technology to advantage in how to improve analytical effectiveness. University experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Based at the Geelong waterfront campus, you will also spend time at both CBD and Burwood campuses.
