FUNdurba Kids Club Outside Hours School Care based in Murrumba Downs require a casual Group Leader to join our team.
We are looking for staff who are reliable and dedicated to the Outside Hours School Care industry and have a commitment to our service and ongoing learning. You will have the opportunity to work with a wonderful team of Educators and it offers a perfect work/life balance.
We offer:
- A supportive Management team and excellent ongoing training,
- Flexibility in your working week, MUST BE available Mon to Fri Before and After School and every school holidays,
- Split Shifts (Before and after school care during school term),
- Paid daily mini meetings 3 days per week, 1 hour programming time, 1 hour weekly Group Leader meeting and monthly staff meetings,
- Attractive rates of pay (Parents and Citizens Associations Award 2016-OSHC and Vacation Care Stream)
- Uniform is supplied
Group Leaders work minimum of 30 hours per week.
To be successful in obtaining an interview you MUST have the following:
- Diploma in Children's Services or studying towards or equivalent,
- A current Blue Card or willing to obtain,
- A current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain,
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificate or willing to obtain,
- OSHC experience an advantage,
- Experience with children with additional needs an advantage,
- Have knowledge of the National Quality Framework, with the ability to plan and program for children according to "My Time Our Place". Have knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards,
- Be able to understand and implement the services philosophy and goals and policies and procedures,
- Contribute to the service Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and ongoing improvements,
- Be able to build and maintain relationships with all children and their families,
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children.
