The Health and Community Centre of Excellence is seeking an experienced Sessional Teacher to deliver programs in the Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice) at the Broadmeadows campus.
The Role
This role is required to teach courses within the Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice) program.
- Deliver training and assessment services in the vocational and higher education and training sector.
- Deliver specific units in Justice and Sociology
- Design approaches to learning and assessment strategies for specific cohorts
The programs to deliver includes:
-CRJUS3475 CRIME PREVENTION, REDUCTION AND CONTROL
-SOCIO2002/3002 SOCIOLOGY OF GENDERS, SEXES AND SEXUALITIES
-CRJUS3472 CRIME AND VIOLENCE: TOWN AND COUNTRY
Key Selection Criteria
Required Qualifications
- · TAE40110: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent
- Masters qualification in relevant Justice discipline
- Relevant current industry experience
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWC) Assessment Notice and/or WWC card
- Police Check
Desirable
- TAE50111: Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, or equivalent
- Sociology and Justice
