About the Job

The role of research assistant will work under broad direction of the Head of the Cytokine Receptor Laboratory and will assist in testing hypotheses and working to achieve defined objectives. The project involves defining the mechanism of action of beta common cytokines on immune cells in steady state, inflammatory and disease settings.


Skills and Experience

You will have an Honours degree in cell biology, immunology or a related field combined with experience in immune cell cultures and animal models of inflammation and disease and demonstrated experience using statistical tools for interpreting experimental data.

Your strong communication skills will be evidenced by previous experience working in a multi-disciplinary research environment and your knowledge of relevant scientific and medical terminology along with knowledge of animal ethics guidelines will be highly regarded.
