Salary: FTE $82,724 - $92,519 per annum
(Plus 12% Superannuation and 17.5% Leave Loading)
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Clinical Supervisor, Nursing to join Vocational Education and Training team on the Broome Campus. This position is offered on a maximum-term contract until 31 December 2018.
This position's primary role is to act as a professional role model to assist students to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for practice within the clinical environment.
This position will be required to work off campus, and to travel to remote areas of the Kimberley, or other regions.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Bachelor of Nursing degree;
- Minimum 5 years post registration experience
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
- Knowledge of Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse standards for practice and codes of professional conduct and ethical standards relevant to the students discipline;
- knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures for nursing practice and specific to student scope of nursing practice;
- Strong commitment to excellence in service delivery;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written;
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, initiative and self-direction.
