G8 education is excited to announce the addition of our new centre; ‘Great Beginnings Hammond Park’ and we are now seeking passionate Assistant Educators for this unique opportunity!

 

Great Beginnings Hammond Park is a brand new, purpose-built centre with extensive natural outdoor areas that offer an active learning and encouraging environment for our children to grow. Our environments have been specifically designed by some of our sectors’ talented experts to effectively support you and your team within our 90 place service. This beautiful centre will be well-equipped with the best resources and facilities available to Early Education; including a Kindergarten Program, specialised school readiness program and partnerships with community local organisations.

 

This is a unique opportunity to build your own positive team culture, while learning and developing your skills together in this brand new space. You will undergo extensive training with your new team and have the opportunity to build relationships with one another prior to welcoming our new families and children.

Your skills and qualifications should include:

• Holding a Certificate III in Childrens Services 
• A current Working with Children’s Check
• A strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• The enthusiasm to be proactive in implementing curriculum
• A friendly and energetic persona  
• Dedication to developing the future of children

Your key priorities will be to:

• Assist the Lead Educator’s daily/weekly planning and objectives
• Assist in planning learning environments, setting up activities, preparing and cleaning away materials and supplies
• Evaluate programming when required
• Assist in completing the children’s daily reports
• Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment
• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
