About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a certified educator to work on a casual basis at our Preschool in Crow’s Nest. Uniting Shirley Road Preschool Crows Nest hold up to 25 children aged 3-6 years old. You will be required to work between the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday during school terms.  Key responsibilities include: 
  • Providing strong assistance to Room Leaders
  • Develop strong relationships with children and families
  • Contribute to educational programs
  • Facilitating play based learning
  • Maintain appropriate workplace health and safety


Essential Criteria

  • Completed Certificate lll of Children's Services
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and ELYF with proven results
  • A dynamic personality, creativity and a clear passion for early childhood education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A cooperative team player who respects children in all their individuality and developmental stages
  • Commitment to excellence in early childhood
