The Autism Association is one of six service providers in Australia appointed by the Federal Government to provide an Autism Specific Early Learning and Child Care Centre for children with autism.
About the Role:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified professionals to work 32 hours per week in this trans-disciplinary service for children below primary school age. This position is Fixed Term Part Time until 31st December 2018. The role will involve supporting the program, maintaining routine and children schedules within child care.
Essential Criteria:
- Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent
- Proven experience within a Child Care Environment
- Demonstrated interest in supporting children with additional needs
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You must be legally entitled to work in Australia and be willing to obtain a police clearance.

- Experience working with children with additional needs and their families
