About Us

AEIOU Foundation is one of Australia's leading providers of early intervention for children with autism who are aged 2-6 years. Our evidence-based program supports children to develop essential life skills, fostering greater independence, confidence and inclusion.

The full-time program is delivered by a transdisciplinary team comprised of behaviour therapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, teachers and educators.

Along with supporting the individual needs of each child, families receive regular training and tools to achieve therapy goals in the home and broader community.

AEIOU Foundation is a profit-for-purpose organisation, operating across nine centres in Queensland and South Australia with a national expansion program underway.

About the Role

Reporting to the Centre and Program managers, a Learning Facilitator is an early childhood educator who is responsible for delivering autism-specific early intervention under the supervision of a transdisciplinary therapy and teaching team.

This is unique opportunity to use your demonstrated early education skills to support young children to develop life-changing skills.

This position will also suit a graduate student in the fields of psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology or early education who is looking to gain experience in autism-specific behaviour analysis.

About You

The successful applicant will hold or be studying towards an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification, Certificate 3 or Diploma or above.

You will also be eligible for a Blue Card and have a current First Aid Certificate including anaphylaxis and asthma.
