Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a KS3 and KS4 teacher to work in a challenging PRU role working as an Art teacher delivering lessons to KS3 and KS4. The role starts in September 2018, or January 2019, and would be for the remainder of the academic, year covering a maternity contract at a daily rate between £130 and £170 per day. 

The Pupil Referral Unit specialises in working with pupils who are excluded from mainstream education with an Education, Health and Care Plan with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health. The school has an excellent reputation and many pupils obtain superb results in Art. As such, an experienced teacher is required. 

• This highly regarded PRU in Islington are recruiting an Art teacher who would work with KS3 and KS4 PRU pupils. 
• We are looking for a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role. 
• Experience working with SEMH or PRU pupils is desired but not essential. 
• Adaptability is required, as you will be working with very challenging SEMH pupils. 

The school is extremely close to the Overground and well connected to buses in the Islington area.

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification 
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
