About the Opportunity
Partnering with our National client, we are looking for motivated individuals interested in kick starting their Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care apprenticeship (CHC50113). This is an opportunity to become a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Education and Care professional. Working a minimum 15 hours per week part time (working days to be set based on your availability and client’s needs) with your hours increasing based on performance. While working on your apprenticeship you will be mentored by industry professionals receiving paid study time, each month.
Your primary responsibilities will include
• Acting as a specialist educator, focusing on the inclusion and physical development of children
• Working with our National Sporting Organisation partner, delivering physical development programs
• Provision of the best possible education and care to children
• Working within the policies and procedures of our clients
• Caring for children of all ages, while respecting differences and considering individual interests
• Gather and document detailed information and develop an accurate developmental profile for each child
• Contribute to a smoothly operating and continuously improving centre
• A proven capability to meet relevant regulations and standards
• Reporting to the Director of Industry Graduates, and client relationship management with the Centre Manager
Who we’re looking for
You will be working within a business dedicated to delivering excellent service to our clients and education and care to children. You must be self-motivated and have great communication skills. To fit in to this team and workplace, you’ll also:
• Hold a Certificate III in Children's Services
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the Early Childhood Industry
• A current Working with Children Check or equivalent, current driver's licence, first aid certificate
(including asthma and anaphylactic training) and resuscitation certificate.
• Have a passion for developing the health and physical development of children
• The ability to work autonomously and deliver client services
• A reliable vehicle and current driver's licence (essential)
