Key responsibilities include yet are not limited to:

• Develop, plan and implement a quality educational program that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Monitor and document children’s progress & individual children’s portfolios.
• Mentor and guide less experience staff within the centre.
• Develop open communication channels with staff, children and families of the centre.
• Contribute to the effective operation of the workplace by supports colleagues, sharing ideas and information, & working as a good team player.
• Comply with the centres policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations. 
• Assisting children with their daily routines & support them in their learning.
• Create a stimulating environment to foster & support children’s development. 

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification.
• A current First Aid Certificate.
• A sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Demonstrated experience working with children aged 0-6 years of age.
• The ability to develop effective & positive working relationships with children, families and staff.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
