Are you an Education and Training Manager who leads by example? A  Manager who engages and inspires your team of trainers.  Capable of operating in a fast moving, dynamic business where operational excellence is expected, along with a high work ethic and a can do attitude. Your Management and Training experience working within the Vocational Education and Training Sector will be valued.

This role will be responsible for the recruitment and ongoing professional development of your team of trainers. Developing innovative face to face, workplace and online training strategies.  Planning, budgeting, reporting and delivery of high quality accredited training programs. You will drive innovation and best practice initiatives

On a daily basis the role will work closely with your team of trainers, implementing the organisational development and quality roadmap in accordance with the strategic plan.

The essential criteria we are seeking includes

  • Tertiary qualification in education or human resources management or project management

  • Sound business acumen - ability to implement business strategies and manage frontline people;
  • Develop strong customer relationships with clients through quality provision of services
  • Previous experience in engaging constructively and respectfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds resulting in high quality team outcomes
  • Manage the performance delivery by communicating performance goals to team members
  • Knowledge of training packages, training and assessment strategies and assessment tools, development of superior course curriculum maximising our student outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • An excellent communicator with a high level of proven stakeholder and relationship management
  • Strategically tracks and analyses training and engagement objectives to ensure actionable plans are in place
  • Ensure individual and team KPI's are being met,
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading multiple sites
  • Ongoing improvement and development of learning and training solutions that reflect learner needs and business priorities
  • Establish excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Proven track record of identifying training needs and developing training strategies and associated plans
  • Ability to forecast costs and budgets for training and development activities
  • Problem solving, solution focused consultancy skills,  including performance needs analysis, solution development, implementation and evaluation of talent and capacity building solutions
  • Demonstrated experience to achieve outcomes according to tight timeframes, deadlines and project plans.
