About the job

This role will be focused on service delivery through efficient payroll processing whilst providing great customer service and support to internal stakeholders of the business with regards to all things payroll.

You will be a great communicator, with solid Payroll experience and sound knowledge of current relevant legislation with the initiative to get involved in a variety of projects across People & Culture.

In addition to everyday payroll processing duties, from time to time, you will produce reports in the relevant systems on an ad hoc basis to provide relevant insights to the People & Culture division and identify and implement process improvement initiatives to create efficiencies where possible.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
  • Experience as a Payroll Officer, including payroll processing using computerised payroll software (from data entry to bank disbursement), processing of termination pays, leave analysis etc
  • Intermediate to advanced word processing and spreadsheet skills and experience with a computerised Human Resource Information System such as Alesco or similar
  • Well-developed investigative and problem solving skills
