THE OPPORTUNITY
We are thrilled to be adding to our OSHC teams with new roles for Assistants in multiple services around Adelaide. Joining Camp Australia means gaining valuable skills and experience and being supported in your role as you build a career in OSHC, there is no better team to become a part of! Whether you are constructing a craft activity or engaged in a sports game with the children, we make sure everyone is involved and having fun, including you! DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Supervision of children ensuring safety and enjoyment in the program
- Participation in our amazing activities
- Knowledge and demonstration of Camp Australia policies and procedures
- Safe practice of food handling and hygiene
- Building positive relationships with the children, parents and school
REQUIREMENTS:
- Availability for all shifts in the Before and/or After School Care program, Monday to Friday
- Hold a Diploma in Child Education and Care or equivalent. Equivalent can include (but not limited to) education, teaching, social work, social science, youth work and community services
Hold or be willing to obtain the below:
- Certificate in Responding to Abuse and Neglect, Education and Care
- Department of Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) Check and Catholic Police Check
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management (HTAID004)
