About the role
This is a senior position with Estate Management who as a division within UNSW provide a range of services and advice to all Faculties and Divisions on the Kensington campus as well as the sub-campuses by providing campus planning, infrastructure planning, development, construction, refurbishment, maintenance and environmental management.
The Associate Director, Property Management, has two core objectives.
Firstly, to optimise the occupant and user experience for UNSW stakeholders. Through a team of Business Partners, this position will seek to build an efficient customer-focussed property management capability, to deliver positive occupant experience and ensure the development of strong partnerships with University stakeholders, including Faculties and Divisions. Secondly, the delivery of capital works through the campus improvement program. This position will develop and operationalise an end to end framework for campus improvement projects which will integrate planning, delivery, commissioning and post occupancy evaluation to ensure completed projects are fit for purpose and are completed in accordance with the approved brief, budget and UNSW strategic intent.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A degree in a relevant property or business related discipline with demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholders to achieve outstanding tenant/customer property management experiences
- Strong understanding of space planning to support brief development for multiple projects to enable optimised project outcomes across the University.
- Sound knowledge and experience in contract administration
- Demonstrated experience in viability paper and business case development, financial analysis and budget management
- Ability and capacity to monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the safety management system in the workplace.
- Effective leadership capabilities in a team environment and a demonstrated capacity to establish build and maintain strong professional relationships within a diverse environment.
