About the business and the role
Atlantis College of Management is a Melbourne, CBD based RTO - Registered Training Organisation and CRICOS provider that specialises in the delivery of accredited training to International Students.
Currently we are seeking an experienced Vocational Education and Training (VET) trainer to deliver and assess Diploma of Marketing and Advanced Diploma of Business
The successful applicant will be passionate about providing quality training, an experienced facilitator who can engage with students in a classroom-based environment and provide support to achieve educational outcomes.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Teach and assess to the relevant curriculum requirements of Marketing and Business Framework as required.
- Develop and implement relevant, current and innovative teaching resources/practices to enhance student engagement and meet individual needs and pathways.
- Develop and moderate assessment tools and strategies.
- Assess and report on student learning outcomes.
- Comply with all relevant ACM policies and procedures, and legislative requirements.
- Perform other duties as requested by the campus manager.
Skills and experience
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40110).
- Advanced Diploma of Marketing/ Advanced Diploma of Business
- Experience in delivering and assessing VET classroom training.
- Recent industry currency and professional development.
- Sound knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training System including SRTO 2015 Standards, ESOS Act and National Code 2007.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have hands on experience in updating and contextualising assessments as per the new training package.
