  • Contribute to best practice quality improvements   
  • VPSG5 ($95,275 - 115,276) plus superannuation

The Manager, Specialist Case Management is responsible for the professional development of staff who supervise complex offenders, including training and mentoring of Principal Practitioners and Specialist Case Managers.  This role will promote and demonstrate a continuous improvement philosophy by modelling case management practices on best practice literature and research, developing and implementing effective quality assurance practices and procedures. 

Working within the Offender Management Development Branch of Corrections Victoria, you'll play a crucial role working in close collaboration with the Post Sentence Branch and General Managers to ensure the Principal Practitioners and Specialist Case Managers in Community Correctional Services and facilities are provided with consistent, and high quality professional development training, mentoring and advice to reduce reoffending and contribute to community safety. 

This will be an exceptional opportunity to utilise your sound leadership skills and expertise to effectively work with stakeholder and broker long-lasting solutions.  Reporting to the Manager, Case Management - Offender Management Development Branch, you will demonstrate: 

  • practical expertise in case management of high risk and complex offenders; 
  • a thorough understanding of best practice initiatives in relation to therapeutic work with sex and violent offenders 
  • a thorough understanding of offender interventions
