ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a family leave replacement opportunity.  You will be accountable for providing a range of administrative support to the business area through data records management and general administration of enrolments and graduations.

In this position you will focus on accuracy in managing student records and documents, ensuring systems deliver the required information and support to educational and commercial activities, whilst continually improving these systems as required.

Your key accountabilities will be to:

  • Provide data management services as the first point of contact for internal and external clients to ensure compliance with data and reporting requirements
  • Manage data relating to FEE-HELP and VET FEE-HELP/VET Student Loans to enable accurate reports prepared for the Commonwealth Department of Education and Training
  • Process student enrolment fees, charges and withdrawals and, refunds in accordance with Institute  policies and procedures maintaining service delivery standards
  • Collaborate with delivery business areas to ensure enrolment related data is provided on an accurate and timely basis
  • Assist with establishment and maintenance of training products within the student management system (STRATA)  to facilitate the correct enrolment of students and their training delivery
  • Advise and input into reviewing and updating of systems and workflows to ensure that processes are streamlined and support continuous improvement
  • Undertake filing and other administrative tasks as required to ensure records are accurate and accessible to business unit staff
  • Provide customer service to students and internal and external clients of the Institute ensuring professional standards and image are maintained
  • Assist the Business Area Manager to ensure policies, procedures and practices governing all Academic Administration functions are upheld, in particular those relating data entry and maintenance

ABOUT YOU

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification at Diploma level and/or extensive experience in providing high level customer focused administration within a complex environment.

Crucial to your success will be your proven track record in communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong interpersonal skills used in developing customer service and information gathering from various sources.

Your are a highly motivated professional with well-developed problem solving and analytical skills who is committed to professional development activities, and being part of a strong cohesive team.
