OCTEC Limited is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers training and employment services programs nationally.
We are seeking a pool of trainers to deliver programs throughout NSW and the ACT.
Trainers are sought for the following courses and programs:
- CPP30711 Certificate III in Waste Management
- RII30815 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations
- RII30915 Certificate III in Civil Construction
OCTEC Ltd employs most trainers and assessors on a casual basis. All casual trainers are paid on a weekly basis, and our trainers are paid for preparation, lesson planning, delivery of training, assessment work, reporting and administration. Where travel beyond 90 minutes is required, trainers are provided with a company vehicle and paid for their travel time.
We are open to discussing contract training through an ABN, on negotiation.
Criteria
OCTEC Limited trainers and assessors must meet the following criteria.
- Hold a TAE40110/TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a higher-level adult education qualification
- Hold one or more of the qualifications listed above, or an equivalent qualification
- Have recent experience, or have maintained industry currency in the construction, plant operations or waste management sectors
- Have participated in activities or professional development ensuring a solid understanding of current VET practices and requirements
- A drivers licence
- Working with Children’s Check
The above criteria are essential, and OCTEC is unable to employ trainers who do not meet the above requirements.
