Position Information
Asquith Boys High School is a comprehensive high school in the northern suburbs of Sydney. The school caters exclusively for the educational and welfare needs of boys. The school attracts boys from a wide area who are seeking a single-sex education. The school specialises in the provision of high quality learning experiences for boys, complemented by outstanding structures and programs to foster student well-being. The work of the school staff is supported by well-established links wit the community and engaged parent body. Boys participate in numerous extra-curricular opportunities including academic, leadership, community service, creative and performing arts and sport. Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Mathematics Years 7 to 12. Willingness to teach Aboriginal languages secondary.
Relevant skills and/or experience teaching mathematics extension 1 and 2.
Capacity to integrate technology into innovative classroom practice.
Ability to work as a collaborative member of the mathematics faculty and on whole school programs.
Capacity to differentiate the curriculum to a diverse range of students including Gifted and Talented (GAT) in a comprehensive boys’ education environment.
